Falling in love and starting our own family made us realize how important and precious our memories are! Among those most precious memories was the birth of our beautiful babies. As many new parents quickly learn, a newborn baby doesn't wait to grow up. That's why it became so important to us to capture these moments while they last. We're dedicated to making the experience of maternity, birth, and new parenthood as fun, memorable, and easy as possible.
Maren has dreamed of being a professional photographer ever since taking a photography class in high school. Upon graduating with a degree in Elementary Education, she recognized there was a way to combine her love of photography with her passion for helping children and families -- photographing newborns. Each newborn session she gets to photograph makes her fall in love again with the sweet beauty and magic of parenthood. Newborn photography safety is a huge priority for her and she makes a point to follow the highest professional standards. She also has a keen eye for natural light, newborn poses, and guiding subjects in what to wear, ensuring that you'll love the way you and your family look in each of the images she delivers. Her favorite photos are clean, light, and airy capturing the beauty and purity of each baby girl and boy she has the pleasure to photograph. Besides being a photographer, she's also a cat lover, nutella junky, and most of all, a dedicated mother to our adorable kids.
Michael is a professional photographer and videographer with a passion for storytelling. He has a degree in media arts emphasizing in documentary film production. During each newborn session he loves capturing the sweet exchanges between babies and their parents and the amazing wonder of the entire newborn experience. His favorite things to shoot include special moments like stretching baby toes, precious little yawns, and warm newborn snuggles. He also enjoys adventuring and can often be found taking pictures of the beautiful vistas, plants, and animals all over Utah. Above all else, his favorite and most important job is being a full time dad and he has all the corny jokes to prove it.
With years of education and experience as professional photographers between us, we not only have a passion for newborn photography, we have the knowledge it takes to make your photo shoot the best it can be.
